"Private industry is blessed by partnering with community arts organizations. The many cultural and artistic
benefits enhance the very core of companies and their employees. We have supported the Arts and Business Council of Sacramento for the last 10 years and are proud to be partners again this year.

About Arts and Business Council of Sacramento

Building Partnerships

The Sacramento region is rich with artistic and cultural assets which make a significant economic impact each year. The Arts & Business Council of Sacramento (A&BC) works to ensure the arts remain vibrant by connecting the business and arts communities through a variety of programs designed to capitalize on our clients’ assets, strengthen their areas of challenge, and build management capacity.

The arts and cultural industries provide jobs, attract investments, and stimulate local economies through tourism, consumer purchases, and tax revenue. Perhaps more significantly, they also prepare workers to participate in the contemporary workforce, create communities with high appeal to residents, businesses, and tourists, and contribute to the economic success of other sectors.

Support the Arts!

Nonprofit arts organizations in CA employ more than 160,000 people, generate $5.4 billion in economic activity, and provide nearly $300 million in state and local taxes.

Sacramento arts organizations have reached a turning point. They are faced with decreasing resources and ever-increasing technological and consumer demands. Your support is vital to keeping the arts accessible and affordable to everyone.

Please consider contributing to the Arts and Business Council of Sacramento in 2009 by sponsoring Prelude to the Season, and together we can improve the capacity and stability of the Sacramento arts community. You have the power to ensure the arts thrive in our region.
